State-of-the-art care promised at children’s hospice

Popular Centre now fully booked

A blood-sucking leech, a dragon fly nymph, a baby newt and a back-swimmer water boatman were just some of the aquatic fauna on display for children visiting Barnet Environment Centre’s spring open day.

New environment centre almost completed

Green roof for countryside headquarters

A living roof planted with sedum is one of the eco-friendly features of the new Barnet Environment Centre, which is nearing completion at the end of Byng Road.
