“ I have been a resident on Lyonsdown Road for 3 years now and my relief in my daily go-about is this house. I am mesmerised by it, while passing in front of it I slow my walk and take my time to really enjoy the beauty of it.
When I received the letter about the building of an apartment I was horrified to learn that it was 33 Lyonsdown Road. I am very upset and angry about it, as this house is of historical importance for it to be knocked down would be nothing short of a sacrilege.
As a member of the community and a history lover I want to start a petition to stop this apartment from being built and the house being raised to the ground, I am a Law student and I am willing to use any skills to assist this cause.
