Liaise with the culture minister Oliver Dowden and CILIP, to implement the Libraries Act 1964 nationally, including the Chancellor Rishi Sunak's promise to "do what it takes" to return Chipping Barnet Library to providing the comprehensive services which it used to do, before austerity policies for ten years and then lockdown caused Barnet Council to abandon their statutory duty to provide these comprehensive services.
