“ Hi there - I am a New Zealander (now married + living in South Africa) who thoroughly enjoyed my rugby life at Barnet - while living + working in London during 1971/72.
Names that come to mind are Aiden Dwyer, Simon Brocklehurst (Captain), Dave Meacocke, Martin Duffy , Bob (can't remember surname - but quite a character). I also remember our resident Chef - Twiggy (big chap) parents owned a well known restaurant close to Barnet.
Other NZ'ers playing at Barnet at the time were Hugh Jervis, 'Waka; Grieve + Steve Tietjens
Regards to all ex- Barnet rugby players from that era + would also like details of the book..
