I'm a carer for the elderly and see at first hand every day the difficulties faced by women in later life, especially the isolation. No wonder so many dread old age.
I feel.so hugely lucky to live here at Marmalade lane knowing that there is always someone to turn to, for a chat or a but of help with a practical problem.
Well I don't have to tell you as you already know how wonderful co housing is. It truly is the best of all possible worlds.
At the moment we're creating a huge mural we hope to share when it's finished. Its been a brilliant way if joining together in an outdoor space as well as connecting with the people who live nearby as they are forever stopping to admire our work and have a chat.
