“ This is amazing! Around 1969-1971 I worked at Supplies & lived in the apartment upstairs which was right next door to the building in this article & is on the corner of Park Road & High Street. It was 3 stories high, so higher than the shops next door but also very old. The top storey was used for storage at that time as it was unheated & in poor condition & I wouldn't be surprised if that building also dates to many centuries ago along with many other old buildings along the High Street including the Mitre, Kings Head & Crown & Anchor which is sadly not a pub any more but has a long history. ”
