Appalling to see this cabal of wealthy homeowners team up to stop young and poor people from getting vital housing in a desperately unaffordable city. What's wrong with 1- or 2-bedroom flats? What's wrong with 35% affordable? What's wrong with building on brownfield sites in a way that helps make a meaningful difference to housing shortages? Nothing, is the answer - except to those who've already won in our rigged housing market, and want to keep it rigged against the young, against the poor, against the homeless. Shameless, shameless behaviour, this.
