I just feel really sad Ms Cowling stared in her will she wanted Whalebones to remain as a farm agricultural use not having 180 houses flats built there she fought off a compulsory purchase order from Barnet general for a purpose
Yes I agree we need housing and it needs to be affordable ! This won’t be affordable for many what with the traffic pollution loss of even more green space ! Out of character etc ms Cowling left Land to Barnet general who sold it on which has been built on nearly finished in 2017 and worth 23 million Sir John franklin is said to be a previous owner in 1830 and put up the first Whalebones from Norway .a historic natural place that I feel should be left alone . We have buildings going up every where old pubs pulled down , bungalows pulled down turned into flats .once gone Whalebones is gone for good I feel very sad her dying wishes are being ignored totally why ? I also believe Ms Cowling started the Barnet society
