“ A year on ....what is happening to the old market site,apart from fly tipping and no parking that is.l thought we were promised a new style Premier Inn which would revitalise the High Street ,and the land around would be used to increase the size of the market.
Instead we have a crampedmarket not helped by Waitrose's incursion into an already restricted area and a continuing decline in High Street shopping.
Do Premier Inn still own the site,are they going to build?
Maybe supporters of this grotesque overdevelopment ie Barnet Society and Barnet Residents could give us an update.....
