“ Saw Millie knocked off her feet by a car on the zebra crossing at 6 pm yesterday, Tuesday 21 November, despite a man putting his hand up signalling the driver to stop. Driver didn't stop but drove on. Car was actually driving very slowly so cannot believe driver did not see the cat unless they didn't have their eyes on the road ahead at all. Millie seemed to be OK, though a bit of her fur was rucked up and she looked cross (understandably). She had been crossing from the Spires side over to the library side, but after that disappeared back into the Spires. I tried to follow her to see if she was OK but lost her inside. If someone else reads this and sees her would be grateful if you could say she's OK. I travel through Barnet by bus most days but don't often stop off. And obviously if someone reads it who knows which door number she lives at could they please let her owner know what happened so she can keep an eye on her? Thank you. ”
