I was born in NB in 1946 and for most of my young life only had the use of 2 local buses 107 and the 34 which were a god send to my Mother. on to the sixties we were given another bus 261 which was another god send because it enabled my father to visit his Mother who had been moved to just off Brunswick Park Rd, as l lived nearly all my life in New Barnet l have seen additional buses coming through NB which were again an added bonus but the extra bonus was the 384 which when l lived in Grove Road l used every day for work to get my shopping and when going out socialising this bus is needed especially through Westbrook Crescent and the Belvan Estate for families with young children and the elderly, Mums rely on this bus as they can not walk with shopping and young children also the elderly who rely on this bus for there hospital appointments and again their shopping. As far as l can remember this bus was put in place to help the residents of New Barnet not Mill Hill and Edgware who already have ample bus routes serving their area as well as the tube. Please reconsider your plans to reroute the 384 bus which serves the residents of New Barnet. You appear to be taking away the sole bus route to various areas of NB and giving extra to an era which already has ample buses and tube trains.
