Wasn't it our prime minister that was responsible for that? The police officers that I know are certainly of that opinion. But I suppose it's easier for Mr Cornelius to make this into a party issue rather than take any real action.
I've every sympathy for the homeless people in Barnet. Some of them cause nobody any bother. Others, however, behave in a manner that no one should have to put up with and yet they seem to be back day after day, irrespective of their behaviour. Removjng the seats around the back of the Spires should be the first action taken, though I understand that that area is set to be flattened and have its usage changed when the market moves to near the bandstand. ”
