“ It was £3000 to hang them and will be £3000 to take them down I believe... It's just terrible. Many of us put a lot of hours into making the banners and the festival team spend months trying to get permission to hang them. It's shocking that such a community driven event faced such huge obstacles. Very sad and frustrating. If the event happens again next year the money will need to be found again... That's a huge amount of money to find... ”
