“ I’m afraid if the shops are not used they have to shut. Just look at the fuss that was made about the market. They tried to get stalls in there and nobody went there so they shut. We are down to 2 fruit and veg stalls now. It’s just a fact of life I’m afraid. Most people want to be able to park for free and easily. That’s why big shopping centres and online shopping is doing so well.
We won’t have any shops in the High Street within 10 years. ”
