“ i object to such development ,as resident of barnet gate lane for over 31 years , the amount of traffic is always on the increase , parking is difficult to some residents, pollution from health point is high , flooding from heavy rain, effects on wild life and let alone consevation of green belt. This proposal has been rejected before the owner appealed and he has lost the appeal as all residents got together with the support of local Mp the late sir S.Chapman . Recently a nearby case for housing development has been lost on the ground of preserving the green built. We have to fight this proposal tooth &nail ”
