Hi. What an amazing idea. How can it not possibly work. I believe women are very adaptable but can be very sociable and that is why loneliness for women 50 up has become such an issue. Divorces and bereavement. Key issues to a certain extent, that's not precluding men in this either, affecting just as much if not more so in some respects. My issue is being on a first floor flat of which I would love a bungalow. But even that would help with mobility issues but not the lonliness necessarily. I think it is definitely a brilliant idea, however to buy at £300,000 an apartment is high for a lot of people, don't know about the renting/shared side. So excited for this scheme. I always thought women buying a large house together and living in it would be brilliant too. You would have money and companionship too, especially if it was friends you knew in the same situation. Holidays, theatre etc would no longer be llonely, I think it would be wonderful. A sitcom was done of this idea years ago it was brilliant and I loved the sheer idea of it.
