Barnet High Street was much better when we had a selection of little shops. We don't need another street in the Spires. Much better to have a place in which people can meander and sit. We don't need a Carluccio's, there are ample restaurants in the High Street. Coffee shops like Costa, Oasis and Coffee Bean are quite sufficient. Go back to the drawing board and lower the rents of the retail outlets. Time .time they close because rents are too high. Regarding clothing also, please cater for the more mature ”
