The Planning and Environment Committee, which deals with such matters on behalf of the Barnet Society, is urgently seeking assistance. If you have an active interest in the quality of your local neighbourhood and can spare a few hours each month, there are a number of ways you could help.

Those with some knowledge and experience of planning, architecture, urban design or landscape would be particularly welcome, although this is by no means essential - enthusiasm and a passion for the area are the main pre-requisites.
