“ Dear Sir/Madam,
I would love it if you could help the local Owls and bats and other protected species such as hedgehogs, wrens and Robins that live in Victoria Park New Barnet.
The local council are planning to build a leisure centre even though they are aware of these animals that have lived there for over 20 years and they have a Bat survey showing the activity and Owls can be heard each night.
There was a disused field also in the running for the location of this leisure centre but for some unknown reason it has been decided to locate it where the animals live.
I have started a petition and would really appreciate it if you could sign it and pass it on to your members or staff as the more support I get the more it will help.
